I have over 7 years of experience in the fields of information technology, marketing, graphic design, and web design.  Iam an innovative problem solver in the field of communication.

My Education

I have always been passionate about education and valued its impact on my life and the lives of others. I attended Academy Central elementary, Holy Family middle school, and Booker T. Washington ‘World Class’ high school. I then moved to Norman, Oklahoma , where I attended the University of Oklahoma. There I received a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from the Gaylord College of Journalism. I continued my education at the University of Oklahoma and earned a Master’s of Adult and Higher Education Administration two years later. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration at the University of Central Oklahoma and expect to graduate in May of 2012.

My Background

I was born  and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Millard B. Latimer, Sr. and Alicia Michele Heartfield-Latimer.  I began my first post-college job at the University of Central Oklahoma, as a Coordinator of Campus Activities and Events. During this time I was responsible for planning  events , developing publicity, and marketing activities for the office of Campus Activities and Events.  After working for less than a year in this position, I was offered a position as an IT Specialist responsible for  developing marketing materials and managing the web presence for all offices in the Division of Student  Affairs.
